Coletivo USE

Art and resistance collective born in the south zone of São Paulo, formed by artist friends who have crossed together several cultural and political movements in the city. Works across painting, performance, photography and urban intervention — turning streets, alleys and backways into spaces of collective creation. USE believes in art as a tool of belonging and symbolic dispute over territory: it occupies, tags, pastes, projects, writes. Each action is a gesture of peripheral presence inside the São Paulo imaginary, built on the ground, without institutional sponsorship, sustained by affection, exchange and commitment to the neighborhood.
